Automatic moving Story

Hi, I need help. 

I want Story to change status automatically if

1. One of the sub-tasks is moved from backlog to analysis -> story automatically goes to in progress 

2. All sub-tasks have the status test on dev or next (e.g. done)-> story automatically moves to test on dev 

3. All sub-tasks have the status done -> story automatically moves to done 

4. All sub-tasks have the status accepted-> story automatically moves to accepted

Hi @l.kubon , 

you can achieve this with Automation for Jira, as it's available on all Jira Cloud sites : https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/features/automation

Thanks to Automation, you can create rules with specific triggers. In your case, the trigger would be "Issue Transitioned" and you could then choose to change the parent task status.

Same goes for your other examples, where you can change the Story status based on events from the sub tasks.
