Automatically Create Issue each Sprint

Is there any way to automatically copy/clone/create certain issues for each sprint created in Greenhopper/Agile? For example, say we currently have a recurring task (Sprint Meetings) which will happen for every sprint, now at the start of each sprint we need to clone or re-create this task...unless there is an automatic way to do this?

The only way that I can think off is to create a JIRA service that would search out for these conditions and clone/recreate the issue for you.

You should be able to get all the Agile information from it's REST API.
