I link TESTs to STORYs
I execute those TESTs through TEST EXECUTIONS
When a TEST fails I create a BUG through the TEST EXECUTION
I would like the BUG to be LINKED to the STORY
I thought this happened automatically but it's not happening.
The BUG will be linked to the TEST EXECUTION but I want to look at the STORY and know what BUGs are linked to it.
(and of course i don't want to do this manually, it should happen automatically)
Bug is linked to the TEST EXECUTION.
TEST EXECUTION is linked to TEST PLAN.
Since the EXECUTION happened within the TEST PLAN I would think the BUG would be assocaited to the TEST PLAN.
i.e. What BUGs were created during the execution of this TEST PLAN.
So if a TEST PLAN is a release, for example, you would want to know if all BUGs found during that TEST PLAN time frame have been fixed or not.
Hi @Stephen Adcock ,
Is the bug linked to the TEST by any chance?
Or does your Story show a link to the TEST EXECUTION?
I tries it with the use case that you mentioned, but since the Story and Test Execution aren't directly linked it wasn't possible to map the linking from the BUG to the STORY.

Bug is NOT linked to the TEST.
The test is just an instance of validation.
