Automating a git commit message when opening a branch (Or any other git action) from Jira

Hi,

We would like to automate a git commit message when opening a branch Or any other git action from Jira,

this initiative is for the developers would not need to copy the issue key when creating branch or MR (merge request), We are using gitlab as a code source and the Gitlab for jira as the app plugin.

 

any ideas ?
