Automation Rule Not working to comment if issue in status for x days.

Kamlesh Panchal February 7, 2024

I have written an automation rule to execute every 1 hr based on below condition:

Schedule Rule.png

If I click on validate query, it shows 1 result.

Second step is to add a comment on the JIRA found from above query.
Add Comment.png

3rd step is to add a Label.

However, the rule is not executing and not seeing any comment on the expected JIRA ticket.

Hi @Kamlesh Panchal , Good day!

If the automation rule is not working then can you please check the audit log associated to that execution. That gives an hint where the problem is.

If you not seeing comment on issue, there may possibility you would have checked the option "Prevent duplicates by only adding this comment once to a particular issue.". This prevents adding duplicate comments to the issue, please check whether same comment is added as part of earlier scheduled executions.
