Automation Rule: issue transitions

Hi

Automation rule help needed!

One of our workflows doesn't have any transition constraints so a card can move freely to any status at any point.

I'm trying to create a rule where, if a card is transitioned to any status then a custom field is updated with specific text. The bit I'm struggling with is the transition bit...

The rule I'm able to create is restrictive from one status to another.

If I were to use this rule I would need to create many, many rules!

I hope I've been able to explain myself.

Would you please post an image of your rule and the audit log from an execution which does not work as you expect?  That may provide some context for the community to offer ideas.  Thanks!

And...I believe the Issue Transitioned trigger allows to select none-to-many status values, both in the From and To.  If you selected None for one of those, any transitions should work for that direction (from/to).

Thank you for taking the time to respond, what you thought was correct! It just turned out I wasn't paying attention to the rule!

Have managed to get all of the rules in place that I needed.
