Automation Rule Setup

  1. Navigate to Automation Rules:

    • Go to your Jira project.
    • Click on Project settings.
    • Select Automation from the sidebar.
    • Click Create rule.
  2. Configure the Trigger:

    • Trigger: Use the “Sprint Closed” trigger.
      • Choose the “Sprint closed” trigger. This will trigger the rule when a sprint is closed.
  3. Add Condition to Check for Issues in the Backlog:

    • Condition: Use the “JQL condition” to filter issues that are moved to the backlog.
      • Select the “JQL condition” from the list of conditions.

Use the following JQL to identify issues that were moved to the backlog after the sprint was closed:

jql.
I hope this will help you.
Thanks,
Perumal Muralidharan.
