Hello,
I'm a bit new to automation on JIRA. I can't seem to make it work.
I want to :
- When I edit a field
- Type of ticket is Epic
- For all the childs
- The field has the same value as the epic parent
When I edit the field it's not doing anything to the childs.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi @Jonathan Porteau ,
a few questions.
Regards, Marco Brundel
Thank you for your very quick answer!
1-Yes they are in the same project. They're all tasks or bugs
2- Yes it's active
3- I didn't saw that. It says that no action has been done because my epic ticket doesn't correspond to the condition

At point 3, do you mean the issue is not issue type "Epic"? But another issue type?

Hi @Jonathan Porteau ,
that is indeed very strange.
Is a JQL condition issuetype = Epic an alternative?
Incidentally, it remains inexplicable that your EPIC does not meet the condition.
