Automation rule: only send slack message if has ticket in the status

Vanessa Formigoni November 3, 2022

I created an automation rule to weekly send slack message of tickets that are in a specific status.

Sprint in openSprints() and status = "Ready to Merge"

Now I am trying to change the rule to only send the message if has tickets in that status.

Note: The column has 2 status, so I am not sure how to do it.

Any suggestions?

Hello @Vanessa Formigoni

Please show use the details of the rule you have created.

What about the rule are you trying to change? You said:

"change the rule to only send the message if has tickets in that status."

Does that mean it is currently sending the message for tickets in a status other than "Ready to Merge"?

Does that mean it is sending a message when there are no tickets in the "Ready to Merge" and you don't want it to send an empty message?

Is "Ready to Merge" an issue status, or just the heading for a column in your board with multiple statuses being mapped to the column?
