The following automation rule is failing and I don't know why.
Any help would be much appreciated :-)
The rule does the following:
The error I'm getting says:
Action details:
Issue condition
The following issues passed:
KYP-1006
Branch rule / related issues
Error searching for related issues. This is most likely because the following issues don't have a related issue of the type you specified. Try narrowing your search to only include issues that contain links to related issues:
KYP-1006: "(key =) AND (project in (10205))" - Error in JQL Query: Expecting either a value, list or function but got ')'. You must surround ')' in quotation marks to use it as a value. (line 1, character 7)
Below a screenshot of the rule:
I wonder if this is a timing issue and some information is not yet available after the Create Trigger. Please consider trying to add a re-fetch action immediately after the trigger before any other logic.
Also, is this rule in a Classic or NextGen project?
Best regards,
Bill
@Bill Sheboy it's in a Next Gen project.
I added the "re-fetch" action and now it works. Awesome!! Thank you!

You are welcome, and I am glad that helped you.
The re-fetch after the create issue trigger often helps, although it does slow down rules a few seconds. Please keep that in mind if you use any chained rules, where one leads to the execution of another rule.

@Liam Green I just added the error to the question.
