I have default value for priority. Also I have an automation that update some fields when priority is set to a set of values(includes default value). I want the automation to work only when user explicitly change the priority to a certain value. But the automation is triggering while issue creation this I dont want.
Assuming you have the Field Value changed trigger, where you are checking the Priority field for changes, you can set the issue operations to Edit Issues specifically.
This way, the rule will be triggered only when the users edit the Priority value.
