Hi, I have set up an automation, that after I created a branch, then it will update the assignee field with "Users who triggered the event"
but seems like, it is not assigned to the user who create the branch, instead it become unassigned
How can I change the assignee becomes user who created the branch?
Hi @Denny Pujo
I believe the only way to do this currently is by assigning a specific person for the rule, as the {{initiator}} does not contain the person who created the branch. Please see this suggestion to improve that: https://codebarrel.atlassian.net/browse/AUT-2404
Kind regards,
Bill
hooooo. this clears my question. thank you for the answer. Then I will change my assignee rules.

Hi @Denny Pujo
Some thoughts about that:
1. Make sure that all users who will be creating branch will have Assignable user permission
2. Did your rule run after branch creation?
3. What says audit log?

Seba

I just notice that it is assigned to "AJ" user, which seems like a "automation for Jira"
I run it at "When branch created"
