Hi everyone,
We are using Kanban (Company-managed project) for our Retails business, we have boards for Product Design, Sourcing, Manufacturing, etc - each team got one board in the same project
We want to have an automation like this:
- When an issue move to Done in Product Design board
- An issue is created in Sourcing in To Do
Most of the article I read is for creating new issue in another project, which is not relevent to my case of same project
Thank you
Within a Jira project, a board is a view of issues based on a saved JQL filter.
And so you likely have 3 different JQL filters for your three different boards. To make your rule work, when creating the issue in the rule ensure the field values make it visible to target board's filter for Sourcing.
To help, look at what is different between the board filters. For example, perhaps it is a Label or a Component value. Once you learn that, the rule should be straightforward to make.
Kind regards,
Bill
