Average Age Dashboard result missing data

I have a Jira instance where I have update the CREATE DATE on Issues after importing them via the REST API.

I am noticing with the Average Age Report that it is not showing me  Bars for all months even though some of my issues are 64 days in duration.

I am seeing a spike on one month and nothing before or after that month. 

I would expect that if I had an issue with a Created and a Resolve date that were over 60 days apart that I would see graph data over at least two months in a row the first month being were the issue Created and the 2nd or 3rd month being the period the issue was open.

I think your algorithm is assuming that Jira has been doing Lucene updates between months and I think that is flawed.

Please explain this to me.
