Average number of recycles between two statuses

I am working with two teams in a project. They work with one single workflow. Let's say we have 3 statuses, A when Team A is working on it, B when Team B is working on it, C when the issue is ready/done. The teams need information from each other, so the issue will be send back and forth between A and B. 

Is there a way I can report on how many time the issue will transition between A and B?

(Is this something I could do in eazyBI?)

I believe this is something you can achieve using EazyBI. Please, take a look at the answer of @Zane eazyBI Support in the following post:

I'm not sure if EazyBI allows you to perform the report mentioned for specific issues if that's what you looking for.

In case it does not provide it, you can also use the plugin JIRA Misc Workflow Extensions which provides a post function that increments a custom number field (+1) everytime the issue is transitioned through a status.
