Azure Devops Integration- Pull Request information is not displaying in JIRA, though build works

Hi,

I have configured JIRA azure devops (official) app and integrated with JIRA. I can successfully see Build/deployment information and even JIRA automation works but no matter what we try we can't get JIRA to display Pull request/branch information.

Any ideas please.

Hi @Neetu Verma ,

While I don't have experience with the connector, from reviewing the documentation (https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/integrate-azure-devops-with-jira/) I did notice, near the end, the reference to including issue keys in deployment events:

To link your team’s development activity to Jira, you must include Jira issue keys in commit messages, branch names, and pull requests. Once a deployment has run on a linked branch, commit, or pull request, you’ll see deployment information in your Jira issues, on the board, and on the deployments timeline. Find out more about referencing issues in your development work

If that doesn't work for you (or you're already doing that), I suggest you reach out to Jira support (a benefit of being on the standard plan and using an official app).

And, please be sure to post back an update here when you get this figured out! Doing so helps everyone continue to learn, and marking a comment as an answer helps show which issues have been resolved.
