Backlog dose not show all issue in defined query

Anh Nguyen February 21, 2020

Hi,

I am trying to create sprint for my project but I have an issue that my task and epic does not show in back log

In the query, my total issue is 188, but in the backlog it shows only 36 as image above. Could you please help to correct the issue to show all issue in backlog.

Thank you very much

Your query is showing resolved issues as well as open ones, is the Scrum board configured the same way?  What is the query used to populate the scrum board?

Hi Pete,

Thanks for your quick response!

Actually, my query list all resolved and other status issue but in the backlog there is no both resolved status and other status. Please see my configuration and result when run the filter. But in the backlog it show only 36 issue.

Note: I just saw issue type = bug and Sub-Epic (our defined type). But other issue type like Epic, Sub-Task they are not visible. Is there any configuration for issue type to be showed in the backlog?

You backlog will only show stories/bugs etc, it will not show Epics.  There is an "Epics Panel" on the board, which you can expand.

Hi Pete,

Thanks for your quick answering. I saw Epic panel, but I have created Sub-Task in Epic, but Sub-Task is also not visible in Backlog and Sprint. Is there any way to show Epic's Sub-Task in Sprint or Backlog?

Thanks
