Once again it seems Atlassian has decided to make changes without making them opt-in, which breaks our team's workflow. This new one is that they have removed the estimated time for items in the backlog unless you open the ticket. This makes it more time consuming for us to identify the newest tickets or tickets that have been re-opened and must be estimated again.
Does anyone know how to have this information displayed once again in the actual list of backlog items?

Please check and choose the appropriate estimation method used by your team by navigating to configure board as shown below -
Upon choosing the appropriate estimation method, you can see the estimate in backlog as shown below -
