Backup of JIRA via Trusted JIRA User

Hi Team,

1. I need to perform Backup of JIRA individual projects + Full JIRA Backup, can anyone assist on this please ?

2. Secondly I also want to schedule regular backup's - does anyone has proven steps for this ?

I would say, it is a good practice to backup Database instead of XML, which might cause performance issues in big instances or errors during imports

You can't do individual project backup in Jira. XML backup will be enough for both purposes, full backup and you can also retrieve individual project from xml backup by Project Import feature in Jira.

For regular automatic backups, you can use Services in Jira, links shared by @Yoga Reddy {Appfire} 

Also, consider regular database backup which is more resource-efficient and reliable (for big instances).
