Jawed Ali June 15, 2020

We have one external user who did not have access in JIRA. In order to record time update, we create a new ID for him. How we can update his time in JIRA.

@Jawed Ali ,

If I understand correctly, you want to log work on behalf of this user. It seems that this is current not possible in Jira Cloud: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-1676. Therefore the only way currently would be for the user itself to do this.

hello @Jawed Ali in order to do that you must have edit all worklog permissions at the permission scheme. It is usually the case that whoever is the project admin can do that but it's not necessarily the case. The permission I mentioned is the one that defines that.
