Hi Experts,
Kindly help me with integrating two jira cloud instance.
What would be the best approach and best practise for integrating two jira cloud ?
We don't have any plugin like BB sync or Exalate for two way sync.
@Vikrant Yadav hello. Diana from ZigiOps' team here. There are two primary approaches to integrating two Jira Cloud instances: using a third-party integration platform like ZigiOps (you can find it in the Atlassian marketplace) or leveraging native Jira Cloud integration features. Here's a breakdown of both methods:
Best Approach in the case:
Seamless Integration: ZigiOps provides a flexible, scalable solution for connecting two Jira Cloud instances. It allows for bi-directional synchronization of issues, projects, and workflows across instances.
Customizable Field Mapping: With ZigiOps, you can map custom fields, issue types, and statuses to ensure that data flows consistently and accurately between the two Jira instances.
Automated Workflows: You can automate processes like issue creation, status changes, and updates across both instances, minimizing manual effort and reducing errors.
Real-Time Sync: ZigiOps ensures real-time synchronization, meaning any updates in one instance are reflected in the other immediately, improving collaboration and data consistency.
Security and Permissions: The platform respects user permissions in both Jira instances, ensuring data security and access control.

Jira Cloud REST API: Use Jira's built-in REST API to integrate two Jira Cloud instances. This requires custom development to connect the two instances, create synchronization rules, and handle data flow. The API allows you to create, read, and update issues across both instances programmatically.
Webhooks: Set up Jira webhooks to trigger actions in one instance when changes occur in the other. This allows for near-real-time data updates and can help automate issue syncing.
Custom Scripts or Automation: Leverage Jira Cloud Automation rules to sync data, like creating issues in one instance when they’re created in the other or updating issue statuses based on triggers.

Dear @Vikrant Yadav I work with Exalate
For a robust two-way sync between Jira Cloud instances, you might want to consider using a solution like Exalate. It allows flexible, bi-directional integration and supports advanced use cases.

Issue Sync Pro , developed by the company I work for, enables integration between two (or more) Jira Cloud instances.
It provides:
Two-way or one-way synchronization of issues across different Jira Cloud instances.
Sync of fields, comments, attachments, statuses, custom fields, and more.
Full control over mapping, triggers, and scope of what gets synced.

@Vikrant Yadav I'm curious, have you tried Copy Jira data?

@Mathew Lederman Copy Data doesn't work in my case.
Both Jira Instance have different admin and owned by different organization.
We need to setup a two way sync, copy data is just a one time copy data to another instance.
