Best tool to read data from Jira DB without directly accessing DB server

Hi,

We have a requirement to allow some members of our team to read data from Jira DB .For that we have created a account having readonly access to Jira DB .But we really dont want those team members to go and access DB server directly.If there is any tool that can be used to read those contents, then please let me know

Thanks for the reply.But my query is like this.I dont want the user to login into DB server.But he should be able to access DB server remotely using some tool like ,how we are accessing Jira using browser

Hi Tina,

Are you referring to something like DBvisualizer? or are you trying to run queries from within JIRA?
