Big Gantt - Create a project in Gantt tool independently from projects in JIRA

I'm a user of Big Gantt associated with my JIRA project.

I feel troublesome that Big Gantt can only import tasks from a whole project. What I want to do is to visualize a chunk of tickets under a/some project in Gantt chart style. I'm looking for a method or another tool that can enable me to do the following:

1. The main purpose of the tool is to visualize Gantt chart
2. If a user wants, the task can be linked to the existing JIRA tickets one by one, but the ticket doesn't need to be located under a project defined in JIRA
3. (nice to have) Each task in the Gantt chart doesn't always need to be associated with the existing tasks in JIRA: each task can be independently recorded in the Gantt tool

I have personally not used the Big Gantt plugin but the input for most of these plugins is based on a JQL filter having issues coming from Jira project. Thus, I don't think you can have issues in the Big Gantt view which are not part of any Jira project.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've decided to try Big Gantt more with filtering by Epic Link.

@Yuta Komiya were you successful in filtering a Big Gantt chart by Epic Link? I have not been able to filter beyond a project.
