Big Picture - Links created in BP created also in JIRA

Hello good morning

I have created a structure of issues in Big picture GANTT, first creating the issues and then moving them as parent-children in a breakdown representation.

Is there any way to automatically create links in JIRA issues ("relates to" for example) every time that I create a hierarchy dependency between two issues in Big Picture GANTT?

Hello Noel

You can build the work breakdown structure in BigPicture's Gantt chart based on Jira issue links, see figure 1.

I couldn't do it the other way round, i.e. make Jira create issue links based on tasks nested manually in the work breakdown structure of the Gantt chart.

The only help I could think of was enabling the Detail view in the Gantt chart, see fig. 2, so that you could click through your issues relatively quickly and set Jira issue links on them.

Does it make sense?
