BigPicture: Ordering Issues by Rank not possilble?

Hi all, I am struggling with finding a solution to sort the issue in big picture by the rank field (the typical order of issues in JIRA Backlogs). Neither in the module "Scope" nor in module "Board" I was able to view the issues ordered by rank.

What I've tried so far:
1) Under settings -> Scope definition: I created a filter that includes all issues. Added an ORDER BY RANK ASC at the END of the jql in the filter. In jira the filter shows the correct ordering. In Big Picture the issues are not ordered by rank.

2) Under settings -> Scope definition: I entered the jql directly and added an ORDER BY RANK ASC at the END of the jql. Again the jql shows the correct ordering when queried in JIRA. In Big Picture the issues are not ordered by rank.

3) Under settings -> Scope definition: I tried the above without adding ORDER BY RANK ASC at the end of the jql. Then I added only ORDER BY RANK ASC in the "narrow down" section. Other narrows down expressions work. However ordering by rank does not work.

I have also created filters that included the ORDER BY RANK ASC as well as adding the column in the views. Also this was not sucessfull.

Has anyone ever figured out how to achieve ordering by rank in big picture?

As for the Board module, I'd try adding the Rank column to a view, and then you can sort by rank, as evident in figure #1.

Regarding the Board module, try adding the 'Rank' field to the layout of your Task card, as fig. 2 shows.

Consider adding the Rank field in the Board's backlog, too.

Try sorting by Rank.

For the list on the right in that screenshot of the Board directly above this, I can see the rank field. Is there a way to sort by it? So that list on the left is sorted the same way they are sorted in JIRA?

When it comes to sorting possibility within the Board Backlog list, this currently is something that is not available I am afraid, however, we do have plans to improve this functionality in our product, so that sorting will be applied by clicking on the column header. Please kindly take a look at the task created on our end to implement this functionality (you may want to use browser incognito mode to access it):

Currently, the task order in the Board Backlog is based on the order of tasks from the Gantt/Scope modules in BigPicture. I also highly recommend taking a look at our documentation page dedicated to this very topic:

Awesome! Sorting by those helped. It would be good to be able to sort them separately as they may need one sort for planning, but another for the Gantt. But getting planning started helps. Thanks so much!!
