Having an issues since upgrading Jira 8.0.0 where an error dropdown happens each time we open a new ticket. Problem being the error message is blank as per the attached screenshot.
How do i begin to diagnose this error? Is there an error log stored somewhere that logs these issues?
@Powered Solutions If you are using JIRA Server, You can check the Tomcat Server logs located in JIRA's installation directory at <JIRA-Installation>/logs/catalina.out
You can also check JIRA application logs located in JIRA's home directory at <JIRA-Home>/log/atlassian-jira.log

you could try opening your browser console to see if there are any errors on the front-end.
For example, in Chrome you can go to View -> Developer -> Developer Tools.
There is an equivalent console for IE and Firefox as well.
