Hello,
I am working in a company-managed Project with a Scrum Board and a Kanban Board.
The Scrum Board contains "Open" "In Progress" "In Code Review" and "Done"
The Kanban Board contains "Ready for UAT" "In Testing" and "Accepted"
The workflow for this project contains all Status from both boards.
I set a filter for the Scrum Board to only show the first 4 status and set a second filter for the Kanban Board to show the last 3 status.
It all worked perfectly.
NOW eventhough the filter says only show until "done", when I move a story to "Ready for UAT" the story still stays on the Scrum board.
Can anybody urgently help me with this?
Hi @Miriam Grühn , that is puzzling. As a test, I wonder if you could try this in a sprint that has not started? You can just create a new sprint and add a test issue, then progress it through the statuses.
Feel free to share the board filters here just so that we can have a look at them.
One thing I will note is that the process seems a bit broken, if I can be so bold. Given that you are using a scrum board you want issues to stay on the board until the sprint is closed. This ensures that the sprint gets credit for completing the work. Issues in the furthest, right column, disappear prematurely then it will be recorded is incomplete work. I have used a similar process before where I had development using scrum and test using kanban. My last column in my scrum board would be something like really protest in the first column in the Kanban board would be the same.
Hey @Miriam Grühn
If it stays in the same board this means that the mapping allows it.
Check again the mapping and you will probably see that status under the board mapping.
