Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a board.
2. Expand the Quick Filter dropdown list, enable the bottom option to display the quick filter buttons.
3. Click on any ticket on the board to open the ticket details.
Result: Quick Filter buttons are turned off.
Is there something I can do on my end to make that option stay turned on?
I found the problem. In the View Settings menu, there's a Quick Filters option.
After I enabled the buttons via the View Settings menu, the quick filter buttons don't turn themselves off after viewing a ticket.
That view setting is not available on Timeline view and I'm experiencing an issue similar to the original poster had on Timeline View. Open Timeline, Select a quick filter, wait 1 - 10 minutes and the quick filters are cleared.
