Board Search - How to search for task criteria

Our search board contains tasks which all have an external reference ID, which you can see, when you enter a task. We would like to be able to search for a task using this external reference ID. Is there a possibility? At the moment it is only possible to search with the Jira ID.

Hi, unfortunately this is not possible. As per https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Searching+for+Issues+on+a+Classic+Board you can only search for the issue key, or the numeric part of the issue key or any text in comments/description/summary of the issue.

You can use contexts to filter/highlight issues though as per https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Using+Contexts+to+Filter+and+Highlight+Issues
