Board XYZ was built on filter 123. Filter 123 was modified to change the value of one custom field conditions. (the custom field option had a space which was removed). The board has disappeared since then. Editing the filter hasn't restored the board. Any way to restore this board XYZ?
Hi @hhegde
Boards do not get deleted when you change a filter's JQL. Deleted boards can't be restored as well. Now
perhaps its sharing permission has been changed and you are not in any group/role which this board is shared with. In this case just ask the creator of this board to include you. Next case would be:
Then the owner just deleted the board. Best case is to create a new board from scratch. FInally,
The contact youur jira admin. Most likely he changed the ownership of the board and he/she or the new owner deleted the board.
Thanks Alex for your timely answer. So the board wasn't accessible because one of the board owners had changed the filter to a private filter. It took a while to figure that as the board had shared ownership and this info wasn't easily available.
