Breadcrumb view is not available

how do i get to change the view settings so that the breadcrumb view is available? When a subtask is created, the link to the parent request is not visible.

Where is it "not visible"? There's several ways to see sub-tasks, so which on is missing it?

The breadcrumb in the parent is missing in the sub-task issue. We are able to see the sub-tasks but the breadcrumb on top does not have the link to the parent.
