Broken Jira links in confluence pages -post migration

Raja rajeswari Gurram 1995 March 9, 2023

Hi team
Kindly help in providing solution to below scenarios:
we are plannong to migrate 10 jira projects in a day using CMJ plugin from DC to DC instance

1. Once jira projects migration is successful and URL is updated as per target environment,
we need to update the same target URL in relevant confluence pages wherever source URL is present.
So, suggest a way in which we can find out all confluence pages which has source jira URL

2. Once, we have identified the Source jira URL links in confluence, how can we update it all with Target jira URL?

Thanks,

Rajeswari G

Hi @Raja rajeswari Gurram 1995 ,

Since you have mentioned you are using DC version of Jira, I will assume you have DC version of Confluence as well (tags you have selected is for Jira Cloud)

There can be multiple ways of doing it, please check out this KB article here.

I personally used Search and Replace plugin few years back. This plugin was only available for Server version but can also work on DC instance. Please try installing it on your staging environment.

There are other plugins as well on marketplace and some can even work on trial license.

Thanks,
Aditya
