Bug report: emoji window opens partly off-screen

Martin Honek March 22, 2022

How to reproduce:

  1. Set comment ordering to have the newest comments last
  2. Open any task with so many comments, that you need to scroll
  3. Scroll down to the end
  4. Click the smiley icon to insert an emoji
  5. Click the ellipsis to insert an uncommon emoji
  6. See the emoji list expand downwards, flowing out of the screen
  7. Click away
  8. Click the smiley icon to insert an emoji again
  9. Click the ellipsis to insert an uncommon emoji again
  10. See the emoji list jump upwards, now correctly showing completely on screen

Screenshot of how it looks after step 6 (The below edge is the end of the screen):

Happens in Chrome 99.0.4844.51, Windows 10.

You mentioned chrome here. Have you tried other browsers to see if it's repairable there? In the end there's a little the community can do with such an issue. You may want to report to Atlassian support directly.
