We have our JIRA and Conflucne server running on VMWare and want to create a test environment.
We restore the server to sandbox area, then we try to start the server but it just hangs?
The server is running linux, Apachey and MySQL.
The server is a copy of live (including memory) so we don't understand why it will not start?

Hi Ann,
We are using a simluar process using a product called Zerto. Which creates a exat copy of the server including UUID and MAC.
The copy is sandbox enviroment that has no internet but is isolated from our corp network. It runs simlure to Site Recovery Manager by VMware.
the Apache service will not start up. It sits in a hanging state. Using the systemctl command to start httpd via it’s service unit file, it tries to start the process, but eventually times out. I’ve checked the error logs and journalctl information regarding the httpd service, but sadly there is very little information. I’ve also made efforts to move all configuration in the conf.d directory out of it temporarily and attempted to start the service, but to no avail. Due to the nature of the issue being a timeout and no clear information present in the logs, I’ve not been able to identify the cause. I’ve tried starting the service directly from the httpd executable file with start-up debugging enabled through a command switch, but get no output there either.
