Burn Down Field

I have a question, if I transition from the last column to a previous, is there a way the story points still stay burned?

To clarify, you want the Story Points to stay burned to record the effort for the overall Sprint? Please can you clarify why you want to do this?

I think if you want to record the effort, even if the issue is re-opened, let's say, you could log work in the issue.

For example, if I log 4 hours working on something and then mark the issue as done, if someone came along and re-opened it, you would still know how much time had been consumed. Would this work?
