Business project management - track milestones

We will be tracking our strategic goals in JIRA AGILE.  This is currently what we have available.  Some goals will span over few years, others just for this particular year.  What's the best way to make provision for the cyclic nature of certain goals.  The label field?  The component section will be used to tag the actual corporate goal an epic relates to.  The epic is the initiative that supports that particular goal.

Any thoughts, ideas are welcome.

Try the Release Burnup Burndown Chart offered by our Great Gadgets app. It allows you to display  milestones for the release in the burndown/burnup chart. A past milestone will be displayed in red color, if the Remaining work at that time was higher than Ideal Burndown, or in green color if it was lower, thus indicating if the milestone was reached or not.
