CSV Export gives Issue Id via Epic Link NOT the Epic Name; Is there a way to get Epic Name exported?

With running a JQL, Epic Link field displays the text but while exporting in a CSV file it indicates Epic Issue Id. Is there a way to get Epic Name exported?

Hello @Vinay Sharma

Thank you for reaching out.

Indeed, the behavior you mentioned where the Epic link displays the Issue ID when exporting to CSV is not expected for most Jira users, so we created the following feature request to change it:

Improve the CSV export options

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

As a workaround, you can try one of the options below:

  1. Use the Print List option instead of the CSV
  2. Copy the Epic name to a custom field in your child issues, so you can export it in the CSV
