I am working on using Jira to track a project instead of using a spreadsheet. I am testing importing issues to the Jira project from a CSV file. I am trying to map one of the spreadsheet columns to the the Jira issue Resolution status of "Done" but I don't see that as a field I can select when mapping the fields in the CSV import. Is there a way to do this? I don't want to manually have to move all of the newly imported issues to a Done status after the import.
Hello @David Green
Welcome to the community.
Note that when you are importing issues they will automatically be assigned to the first Status in the Workflow for the type of issue you are creating.
Only an import executed by a Jira Administrator using the External System Import option will allow the mapping of the Status field and setting the issue status to a value other than the first Status of the workflow.
Thanks. I will have to import what I want and then move them to the correct Resolution.

could you please tell us if you succeed to import by csv your issues and the resolution field was set correctly during the import ?

Please don't say "resolution status" - it's completely unclear as to whether you mean resolution or status (two totally separate independent "fields")
You should be able to map a column for either Status or Resolution if you are using the admin CSV import, rather than the project's.
