I'm would want to update eh system field Date Resolved (Resolved Date) via CSV. So far, I have not been successful with this and is currently wondering if there is now a way to do so?
I am aware that the only way to do this is via database update which I can't do due to lack of permission.

Have you checked the format of the date in the CSV matched with the System Jira Date Format.
For checking the date format of your installation :Go to Administration -> Global Settings -> Look and Feel
and verify the set Date/Time Formats (e.g. dd/MMM/yy).
Yes. It matches. I was able to update other dates. But I can't update the Date Resolved.
