CSV export in TMP: how to include Parent (Epic)?

Team managed project. I did a CSV export of a JQL filtered view to include current fields. I was disappointed that the "parent" (epic) field was not included in the export. Not surprised because of Atlassian's abysmal support of epics (as epics...the kind with actual names) in JQL. But this is important so I'm hoping there is a solution.

Thank you in advance.

I works if I export ALL fields, not just current fields, even though parent is a current field. Even better, unlike with company managed projects, the parent (epic) name is actually included, no just an ID.

When I export current fields I do receive the epic key for the Parent but not the epic name.

Hi

If you would be interested in an add-on to view your entire Epic hierarchy including Epic names in a CSV format, you can try out our plugin

Agile Tools : Epic Tree & Time in Status

The app provides sum up at each level for time estimates and story points.

You could eventually try Better Excel Exporter, it will produce epic names from any screen and from any configuration. You can then easily convert the result to CSV if that's your target.

(Discl. It is a paid and supported app developed by our team.)
