Calculate 2 Date difference in Hours.

Hi,

I want to calculate created date and resolved date difference in hours.

I have used this Jira smart values {{issue.created.diff(issue.Resolved).hours}} format in edit issue fields. but it shows the wrong output.  Below is the attach screen shot.

What is wrong about the output? What are the values in the two fields and the resulting value in the Total Time for Closure field?

Thanks For your reply.

The created date field has the issue created value and the resolved date field has the issue resolved value. 

I want to calculate the difference between these 2 dates in hours. and

In the closure field value, I want the value for the time taken by the issue from the issue creation to the issue closed. (i.e issue created at 2 pm and issue closed at 6 pm so total closure time is 4 hours.) this is what I am looking for in closure value. but I am getting random values in the closure field as shown below.

Can you run a JQL for the Issue above and then do a screen shot showing the columns for the 3 fields?
