Calculate time estimate of linked issues.

Hi all, 

We've created Story type of issue (essentially - a big feature of our project) and linked several issues (tasks) to it, as part of the Story completion. 

Each issue have time estimate. Can we see a sum of issue time estimates and general story time estimate? 

I know about the Structure plugin. It does the job, but is VERY expensive.

May be this you can use as work around.

You can use Jira Misc Custom Fields plugin . In this plugin, you have calculated text and number fields. You can write the formula and set field value.

You can return the total time as 20h 30m in string format.

or 

Other suggestion is create the tasks as sub-task instead on parent task. So you can get the total estimation on the parent ticket.

If only plugin is the option, how the formula should be created?
