Can Batch Email Notifications be turned on in Confluence?

I know that we can turn on Batch emails for Jira after version 8.0 which I am currently on.

However can this option also be turned on for Confluence email notifications or is it only for Jira notifications?

Currently it is only available in Jira, but if I remember correctly from the Summit keynote batch emails are coming in Confluence 7.
