Can Email notification be sent to the CC'd Users

Hi All,

We have a software Kanban Project "ABC" and its is been setup in such a way that whenever an email is been sent to XXXXX JIRA ticket will be automatically created in the ABC project.

my question here is: lets say i emailed an issue to the XXXXX id by CC my other colleague and jira ticket has been created in the project ABC. if i update any comment on the ticket will the CC'd user receive notification on the comment updated ?

The reporter will receive the notification by will CC'd user receive the notification on any event that made on the created jira ticket ?

Hi @Vinay Dasari 

If you have setup your mail handler to add CC'ed users as watcher of the ticket then surely CC'ed user will receive the notification email on the comment updated.

If you haven't setup your mail handler to add CC'ed users as a watcher of the ticket then CC'ED users will not receive the notification email.
