Can I add a remote app to Jira studio?

Jira studio now has Jira 5.x which supports Remote Apps. When I follow the tutorial at https://remoteapps.jira.com/wiki/display/ARA/Page+Tutorial I am unable to get the remote app to show up because the "Extensions" tab is not there under my profile. Are remote apps viable under studio or is this an On Demand feature only?

Hi Dan,

The Jira studio environment is currently running Jira 4.4 instead of Jira 5.1
If you are indeed running Jira 5.1 I assume you have been migrated to the OnDemand environment (if you still see Jira Studio in your MAC please contact the support team to verify the migration so you can opt-in for the OnDemand pricing)

To come back to your question, if you are running on the Jira studio environment then indeed you will not be able to add remote app, this is only used for the OnDemand solution.
