Can I add a team field in the task tracker list on Jira?

Not able to add or find a team field in this list. Is it possible to add it as a custom field? I have already added it in the issue type configuration but it is not appearing over here.

What data would you expect to be able to use in that field?

The teams that can be created under the Teams menu currently can't be used within issue fields. Only Teams created under the Plans menu can be used. The Plans menu is an option available with Advanced Roadmaps which is available only in the Premium plan.

You may have found the built-in custom field named Team that is a locked field.

This is the field used by Advanced Roadmaps. It appears in the Custom Fields screen even if you don't have the Advanced Roadmaps feature available.

There are some changes coming related to the Teams under Plans and Teams under the Teams menu. You can find out more about that here:

Lastly, not all types of custom fields can be added to the List view. Refer to this document for information:
