Can I allow/prevent certain user groups/project roles from commenting in a certain status?

I want to allow internal users to comment on an issue in status closed, but deny commenting for external users in this status. Right now I am using properties in this status: jira.permission.comment.user - denied and jira.issue.editable - false. Any idea, anyone?

This is not possible (at least without a custom plugin). See this official issue and the last comment from Jira Product Management: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-6381
