Can I create a single board view to show tickets from multiple projects?

Jodi Jones August 11, 2025

I have 4 team members who do work across multiple Jira projects (yes, not ideal).  Standup is rough because I'm doing a filtered list, but can't set priority per team member, etc.  Some of these projects are sprints and some Kanban.  Is there an easier way to do this that I'm not thinking of?

Hello @Jodi Jones ,

Good day! Welcome to Atlassian Community :)

Yes, you can create a single board to show tickets from multiple projects. Boards are just visual representation of the JQL filter its associated with.

  • First create a filter to include tickets from all the required projects. The filter will look something like: Project in ( Project1, Project2, Project3).
  • To create a filter, navigate to https://yoursite.atlassian.net/jira/filters, Create filter, Type the JQL, run it and save.

  • Post that, create a new board from this link: https://mysite.atlassian.net/jira/boards
  • Click Create board -> select Kanban or Scrum as per your requirement -> Select "Board from an existing Saved Filter" -> select the filter you just created above and set the location where you want board to exist ( either user profile or any company managed board -> Create

I hope that helps. Thank you!
