Can I create multiple Epic Types?

We have implemented SAFe in our house and define both traditional Epics and enabler Epics and would like to visualize these differently.

Is it possible to have 2 Epic 'types' so we can accommodate this?

We've considered things like 'adding 'Enabler' to the title etc. but this is not a very elegant solution.

Hi Bob.

No, at least not natively. There are plugins that allow you to create issue types that have the same 'container' functionality as Epics.

Why not use the standard Epic issue type and implement the use of another field to differentiate between enabler and 'standard' Epics? Cheers!

Thank you Joshua, That is one of the options we're considering. We were hoping for a more elegant option. :-)
