Can I define a release based upon a filter?

Hi,

While working with SAFe , we would like to define a release based upon a filter that retrieves the information from several boards or projects. Is this possible? (and how :-)

Good question. Really keen to understand your use case.

If you up to Marketplace Apps in our Release Management & Roadmaps App you can find an option to create "Virtual Versions" based on Custom JQL. You can either specify JQL you want or just put {filter="Your_Filter"} if you have one already.
